As you will see from my resume, I have been working in the hospitality industry for many years, mainly at the Nataraj Restaurant in Camberwell. I started there as a casual waiter while I was studying at Swinburne, and worked my way up to the position of General Manager, with responsibilities for operations, staff supervision and training, and all aspects of service delivery and management. I very much enjoy a leadership and mentoring role, and I believe I am very effective in it.
However, I have spent too long in this single position, and I recently resigned to give myself time to find a career role in a larger and more structured organization, which would present wider challenges and give me an opportunity to grow further in the industry.
